The Palace Theatre, Rich Forum, and Leonhardt Studio

Rental Costs

The Palace Theatre, for non-profit companies, is $4,000.00 plus costs per day. The rental cost for profit companies is, $5,000.00 plus costs per day. Costs are comprised of stagehands, house management, cleaning and security. We will do an estimate of technical costs once a mutually satisfactory date has been found and held.

The Rich Forum is $3,000.00 per day for non-profit companies and $4,000.00 per day for profit companies. Rich Forum is subject to the same costs as the Palace Theatre.

The Leonhardt Studio is $550.00 per day for non-profit companies and $725.00 per day for profit companies. Leonhardt Studio is subject to the same costs as the Palace Theatre.

All utilities and in-house equipment, included in our technical specs (when requested in advance), are included in the rental cost.

Additional Costs

• Stagehands* - Are determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement with I.A.T.S.E. Local 133.
• SCA Security* - $17.70 per hour per guard
• Police Officer - Per Stamford Police Department
• House Manager - $23.60 per hour (minimum 5 hours)
• Assistant house Manager - $15.34 per hour (minimum 5 hours)
• Ushers - $10.88 per hour
• Cleaning* - Palace Theatre $495.00 per clean (2nd performance on a single day add $165.00) Rich Forum $285.00 per clean (2nd performace on a single day add $132.00) Note: Cleaning is done prior to and after each event.
• Piano Rental at the Palace contact Stamford Symphony at 203-325-1407 Ext. 308. Rich Forum N/C.
• Piano Tuning - $125.00.

Other details regarding labor are specified in the contract.

* You cannot use your own stagehands, security or cleaning people for your rental. Stamford Center for the Arts staff is familiar with the equipment and the environment and is critical to making your performance a success.

Tickets

Stamford Center for the Arts Box Office will sell tickets for our renters. The renter pays a .50 per ticket printing fee. Customers pay a $5.00 per ticket handling fee for all telephone and Internet orders over and above the face value of the ticket price.

Rental Terms

You will be required to sign a contract and put down a deposit towards the rent when you sign. The balance of the rent and all estimated costs are due the business day before your event at noon. All renters are required to be adequately insured, per the contract.
